Babies have to wear these mittens on their hands so they don't scratch their faces. When they are born, babies have fully developed and extremely sharp fingernails.
The glo-worm light is a Bili-Lamp. Baby Mara had a mild case of jaundice and had to be tanned for a few days to get back to normal.
